Dana Motors Limited has announced service discount of up to 10% on all routine maintenance carried out at its service centres across the country.
The
offer which begins July 22 - 27, 2013 includes 5% cash back and several
undisclosed concessions on vehicles aged five years and above is aimed at
encouraging the habit of maintenance among local motorists especially during
rainy season, the Kia Motors dealership affirmed.
Mr
Gitesh Yagnik, Chief Commercial Officer of the service division of Kia Motors
Nigeria who gave this hint in a press statement said: “We always strive to provide ‘family-like care’ for parts and
service to all our valued customers and they can
avail them at any of our Kia service centres."
He explained
that though the company seeks to woo new customers but it is keen on retaining
old ones by ensuring they are satisfied.
The offer
which is on-going is targeted at customers who purchased their vehicles five
years ago Mr. Sanjay Tatpati, General Manager,
service division, KIA Motors Nigeria assured.
He
said: “We want our
valued customers to benefit from the promotions and discounts being offered on
spare parts and services especially during this rainy season.”
Mr. Tatpati
who cautioned motorists in Nigeria against apathetic attitude to car care said:
“It is well known in Nigeria that rainy season is the most unromantic season
for cars running on the roads.
“Water-filled
potholes, severe rains, floods and many other troubles affect your car
considerably. Drivers even face acute problem of water seeping into their
engines, which sometimes affect engine by stalling car engine and ultimately
leading to car damage,” he observed.
He therefore
called on all motorists to check if their cars are fit for pre-monsoon season
or not.
He listed
some of the mandatory checks as oil and filter change at the recommended
period of 5000kilometres or every 3 months; tyre check, checks for laceration
on hoses and belts; air filter change owing to dusty road conditions;
replacement of overused wipers blades and faulty wiper motor; brakes, coolant
and radiator as well as battery and air-condition.
These checks
according to Mr. Tatpati are vital to seamless drive during the rainy season
and to a large extent, safety on the road.
